Open import text interface

To gain access to the import of text window, you click the Synchronos button display menu and select text line.

Import an RTF text

This window allows you to open RTF documents.

To open your document, click the Open button at the top left of the window.

If you want to open another type of document (Doc, PDF...) open it with your usual software, copy all the text and paste it into this window.

Then, to insert texts into the rythmo band, simply select the piece of text to insert and click on the button "Insert for...".
The text will be automatically placed in the red bar on the rythmo for the previously selected actor.

Import a scenario file

In the second tab of the text window, you can import a tabbed text file or a scenario file.

In the case of a tabbed text file, it must be formatted as follows:
Timecode In [tab] Timecode Out [tab] name actor [tab] text to insert

The timecode must be of the form "00: 00: 00: 00"

To generate files scenario, you can use Final Draft software.

Once your file is imported into the table, just select the rows to insert, do a right click and choose the option: "Insert for...".
The text will be automatically inserted in the rythmo band at the timecodes selected.

Intelligent text import

The third tab interface is the most complete import of Synchronos.

This import attempts to automatically detect the type of file is used.

It is able to automatically detect the timecodes in the file.

The file must be in csv or text (txt) format.
Separators can be semicolon (;), comma (,) or tab.

Aactors are processed automatically and it is therefore not necessary to select the actor to insert the text.

If the actor does not exist in the project, it is automatically created and if it exists, it is selected.

To insert texts, you must select them and click on the button "Insert selection".
